FULLBODY

SKETCH / $25

~800px. No added detail. No major markings. No shading or added colors. Full charge for additional characters. No backgrounds.

FLAT/LIMITED COLOR / $60

~1600px. Simplified palette where possible/appropriate. Simplified markings. Simple/no shadow and highlight. Simple backgrounds only. +$40 per added character.

FULL COLOR / $75

~1600px. Full color. Shading + highlight. Any background. +$50 per added character.

ICONS

SKETCH / $20

500px. Minimal color. Minimal instruction.

LIMITED COLOR / $35

1000px. Minimal color.

FULL COLOR / $50

1000px. Full color. Detailed BG optional.

REF SHEETS

REF SHEET / $60 front / $100 front and back

~1600px tall. Flat color. Large front image, smaller back image. Additional details at variable costs; $10 per minor detail, $20 per bust, $30 per small fullbody.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

BACKGROUNDS [free]:

You can ask for as many of these as you like at no extra charge but I would prefer if you ask for multiple copies of the same work that you tip a couple extra bucks :)

BACKGROUNDS [paid]:

I will typically only do ONE of these, not both. Price varies on anything more complicated. I take NO direction on loose paint, it's always something flowing and abstract to give a bit of visual variety - stars, clouds, flowing lines, etc.; do not ask for a "loose paint bedroom" for example.

ALTS:

Note that these are NOT complexity charges; if you ask for a messy version by default, a certain expression by default, or a clothed character by default, there are NO extra charges based on the examples listed below. I will charge extra if you "downgrade" from a default version though, such as a character losing clothes, making a "clean" version, etc.

Messy Alt

This charge is given for addition/reduction to this detail; if the artwork is "clean" by default and a messy alt is added, it's +$5, if messy is requested from the start and a clean revision is requested, it's +$5.

Expression Alts (on fullbodies)

This charge is applies per face changed. In a two character work with equal revisions to the faces, the charge will double; there is no reduction in price for multiple characters.
Simple = mouth, eyes, eyebrows changed
Redraw = tilting/turning entire head

Clothing Alts (on fullbodies)

NOTE: Ref sheets include nude AND null at no extra charge.

PROPS/OBJECTS:

Complicated/multiple objects and props have a varied price; some small details are free (e.g. cans, bottles, bags, mugs, etc.) but may cost extra with multiple (e.g. a lot of trash on the ground, a bunch of plushies, etc.). Added complexity may cost more (e.g. an open pizza box vs. a closed one) and naturally complex objects will cost extra (e.g. cameras, instruments, etc.)

PWYW (Pay What You Want)

PWYW is for folks who are fine with having nearly no input in what I draw, and are content with paying me a certain amount of money for me to do whatever I like, within reason. This type is good for folks who have no particular idea in mind with a variable budget and just want to see me draw something.

I only accept payment in intervals of $25 below $100 and $50 over 100. $25 minimum, $200 maximum. I will take some guidance on what is drawn, such as characters, scenario, etc. but will otherwise prefer the piece remain open-ended. Multiple drawings is only available at $50 and above, $25 will always be a single drawing.For adult art in particular, I will ask a few simple questions about your boundaries with regard to your character.

I do not have any PWYW examples. I am willing to take on PWYW work, but I would advise only requesting it if you are faimilar with my work.

    TERMS OF SERVICE

    This page contains a condensed copy of my Terms of Service, for the sake of simplicity, as a refresher. You are responsible for understanding and agreeing to all terms and conditions before commissioning me. For my full ToS and will/won't do info, check over these Google Docs available here:

    Agreements, Permission, and Privacy:

    • I retain my rights to the artwork.

    • You retain your rights to your characters.

    • You may use and display the artwork non-commercially. Example: you may use the art as an icon, print it for personal use, etc. you may NOT mass print it for something such as stickers for sale.

    • You may NOT use the artwork in any manner associated with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency trading, or mint the work as an NFT.

    • You may NOT use the artwork for AI art dataset training.

    • I will likely post the artwork to social media, but will keep it private if requested.

    • I will not resell or re-use the artwork, although I may post the initial sketch to my Patreon and possibly show the work to future clients as an example of my work.

    Process:

    • A form is highly suggested to request a first-time commission from me. I will respond within 72 hours if your commission has been accepted or denied.

    • I need reference images before accepting. (Exception: new character reference sheets)

    • I need information/details before accepting. (Exception: wing-it requests)

    • Sketches require payment up front, I will request payment after sending an initial sketch for anything else.

    • Payment is via PayPal in USD.

    • Approval sketches are usually done within two weeks, any major requested revisions should happen in this stage.

    • I have a deadline for all artwork to be done within 60 days of payment, although I typically aim to have it done by the end of the month that the commission is requested, unless the order comes in mid-month.

    • Small edits may be made to a completed artwork for free, ONCE (I may do more especially if you spot multiple errors, but I will refuse to do multiple small additions that were initially unasked for).

    Deadlines, Refunds, Edits, and Blacklisting:

    • The deadline for a completed work is 60 days after payment has been received, although is more likely to be ~2-3 weeks. Very large orders are an exception to this rule.

    • I will give a full refund ONLY if the deadline is not met.

    • Partial refunds are available if requested after payment: 70% returned if only the sketch is done, 40% returned if only the lineart is done.

    • NO REFUNDS for completed work. Completion is determined at my discretion, based on the type of artwork requested.

    • In the case it is absolutely necessary that you receive a refund, you will not own any piece of the artwork, aside from the existing ownership you maintain of your own characters.

    • Large edits can be made in the sketch stage of more complicated artwork, small edits can me made to any completed artwork.

    • I may blacklist someone from commissioning me for any reason, typically any form of pestering/harassment over any part of the process. (excessive demands, requesting far too many edits, etc.) Please feel free to ask questions and provide as many details as you like! Polite discussion and requests are always welcome, blacklisting is exclusively saved for harassment.

    Adoptables:

    • Ownership of the design transfers to the buyer, although I retain my original rights to the artwork itself.

    • You may revise the design/details however you like upon completion of the sale.

    • You may NOT reproduce the original ref for commercial use; personal use only.

    • You may reproduce NEW work based on the original ref for commercial use, either made by yourself or in collaboration with another artist.

    • You may resell the design to others, with the stipulation that you must list the price of the original sale, and attribute the original design to me.

    • I offer a perpetual discount on adopts as follows: $5 off sketches and icons and $10 off colored fullbodies or higher

    Final Agreements:

    • You must understand these terms and conditions before requesting a commission.

    • By paying for a commission (once an invoice has completed) you agree to the these terms and conditions.

    Will/Won't Do:

    I have my will/won't do here, although here is a condensed version;PREFER/SPECIALTY:

    Franchise/IP characters    WILL NOT DO:

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    Q: Can you work at past prices on an older pricing sheet?
    A: No, I will only work at my current prices, listed here on this site. Be sure to double check prices any time you'd like to commission me, and never rely on an info sheet older than the current year and month. I will confirm the price with you when you contact me.    Q: Do you have a public queue?
    A: I do not - I work on art on a per-interest basis (typically least to most complex) within a certain deadline for everything that month. You are free to contact me any time via your preferred contact site with a question on progress.    Q: Can I commission something in the style of art you've drawn in the past?
    A: Possibly. Go ahead and ask, but I cannot be 100% certain. In general, I'm far more likely to be able to do something in a unique style I've done for personal art if it's a single character artwork. I will price in a way that seems fair to me.
